Introduction to Rock Climbing
This introduction to outdoor rock climbing is a great starting point for those with little or no experience of rock climbing or even making the transition from indoor to outdoor climbing. The primary focus is to let you experience what this sport entails by getting you to do as much climbing as possible on a range of different climbs.
Our climbing instructors are there to support and encourage you whilst sharing their knowledge and skills to help you develop in the time available. This course would even suit people who have never climbed indoor or outdoor before or just haven’t climbed for many years and want to experience it again.

Our climbing courses start from Hathersage in the heart of the Peak District. We meet everyone and decide which is the most suitable crag to use.
After this course people are generally ‘buzzing’ and want to come back for more.
No pre-requisites for this course
Suitable clothing to keep you warm and dry for the expected weather (check a forecast for this area or call us) carry a waterproof or windproof jacket. You will need sturdy footwear for the walk in and out of the crag, a packed lunch and drink. If you have climbing shoes please bring them or alternatively please call us to hire a pair for just £3.00.
