Emergency First Aid At Work (HSE approved course)

As a first aid training provider we aim to deliver this course in a practical and fun way. Our clients have found this approach more enjoyable and take in more of what has been covered.

EFAW training allows successful candidates to perform emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill whilst at work.  This course is ideal for organisations with low level hazards and risks or larger organisations who require staff to support fully trained first aiders in their place of work.

Course content

• Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
• Managing an incident
• First Aid priorities
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Shock
• Seizures
• Common workplace injuries

On successful completion of training candidates receive a HSE approved certificate valid for 3 years and a 1st Aid manual.

One day (6 hours)

If you have 6 or more staff to train then we can deliver a course at your venue on your chosen date. This course is proving popular for Schools 1st Aid training. Prices from £32 per person (all prices exclusive of VAT). 

Alternatively, we can deliver the course at our own training venue in Chesterfield or deliver first aid training across south yorkshire.
